280th SHEFFIELD SCOUTS
NORTON WEEKEND CAMP 2023

As we were unable to hold a Summer Camp this year, this weekend gives an opportunity for all the Scouts to attend a camp before the end of the camping season.
The weekend will be full of activities and challenges as Sheaf District Activity Day will be on the Saturday, as well as cooking and camping for 2 nights.
Location: Hesley Wood Scout Campsite, Chapeltown, Sheffield.
Cost will be £50
Let the Scout leader know if you are interested in attending.
KIT LIST
The following personal equipment is recommended and should be clearly labelled with the Scout’s name:-
Rucksack / Bag Sleeping Bag Sleeping Mat
Waterproof coat Warm sweater / Hoodie T-shirts
Shorts / Trousers Underwear Socks
Hike Boots / Strong shoes Training shoes Towel
Swimwear Personal wash kit (Sun cream)
Torch and batteries Sleeping clothes (Midge spray)
Personal Drinks Bottle
Full uniform MUST be worn for travelling.
Note 1: A supply of plastic bags is recommended to keep wet / dirty and dry clothes separate.
Note 2: Blow up Air Beds are not permitted as they take up too much room (self inflating sleeping mats are ok).
